Guide for Applicants

Categories
ESA Business to Business – for sponsorship projects directed at a sponsor’s business partners, clients and distributors

ESA Business to Community – for sponsorship projects focused on corporate responsibility (environmental, societal and governmental)

ESA Business to Community – Low Budget (with a budget of under €50,000)

ESA Business to Consumer – for sponsorship projects intended to reach existing and potential consumers

ESA Business to Consumer – Low Budget (with a budget of under €100,000)

ESA Business to Consumer - Media - for sponsorship projects intended to reach existing and potential consumers via a media platform

ESA Business to Employee – for sponsorship projects focused on members of staff

ESA Rights Holder Award- for the best sponsorship partnership

ESA Multi-National Campaign – for sponsorship projects which reach a minimum of three different countries, and which reflect activity based within at least one European market

A project may be submitted into a maximum of two categories, plus the International category, if applicable. Where the same project is entered in more than one category, a separate entry form for each category must be used. Please refer to the Rules for Entry for further details.

Entries can be made by either sponsor, rights holder or associated agency. All applicants must complete and submit the downloadable Entry Form by the closing date. Entries will not be accepted in any other format than on the standard Entry Form. Please note that there is a separate entry form for the ESA Rights Holder Award category.

By submitting an entry, the applicant agrees to the terms and conditions set out in the Rules for Entry. Entries will be assessed by the independent panel of industry experts. The Assessment Guidelines will be followed by the judges.

Supporting material

In addition to the Entry Form, applicants are required to submit:

- One static (jpeg) visual of the sponsor, rights holder and agency (as applicable)
- A maximum of one static jpeg visual (which must not exceed a total of 1.5MB and which may include a composite of multiple images)

No further additional supporting material will be accepted at the time of entry.

Short-listed projects may be asked to supply additional material and may, if desired, submit a short video of no more than 60 seconds duration (in wmv, or other windows media player compatible format). Short-listed applicants should contact ESA for details of how to submit video as this must not be submitted by email.
