The ESA Excellence Awards are the only recognition
of excellence within the sponsorship industry across Europe. They
celebrate campaigns in all sectors - sport, culture, entertainment,
media and corporate responsibility.
The 2012 Awards Ceremony and Dinner was held
at the British Music Experience at The O2 in London on the 31st
January 2013.
The ESA Excellence Awards, now in its seventh
year, attracts entries from those working in marketing from across
Europe. Sponsorship campaigns focus on business success, consumer
or employee engagement and community projects. They vary in size
from large national or multi-national campaigns to more modest,
low-budget sponsorships. The Awards also cover specific targeting
of an audience using a particular media platform - whether that
be traditional or social.
Two new Awards were presented at the 2012 Ceremony;
a Best of Europe Award saw 2012 national sponsorship award winners
from different countries competing against each other. An ESA member
Professional Development Award recognised companies that have shown
the most commitment to developing their staff through training
and education.
